Letter to the Editor - Let the F.O.R.C.E. be universal

I applaud F.O.R.C.E. for taking on this challenge (see Tuesday's Daily Forty-Niner article, "F.O.R.C.E. aims to amplify awareness of feminist issues"), especially that of creating more awareness about "honor" killings. However, I hope at least some in its ranks are for universal human rights.

There is an unfortunate tendency among some people, who are often less familiar with the issues, to engage in cultural and moral relativism, but this is actually hindering progress on the ground.
