Three Mac desktop computers were stolen yesterday from the LGBT Resource Center. "We received a report yesterday, Jan. 28, 2016 of a theft of three MacBooks taken from FO4,” Lt. Police investigate report of rape

University Police are conducting an investigation after a female student reported that she was raped. The student filed the report with University Police on Jan. 26. According to Lt. Richard Goodwin, the incident occurred two months ago, which would classify it as a "late report." This is at least the ninth case of sexual assault reported at CSULB in the 2015-16 academic year.

Gov. Brown announces support for prison reform legislation

In an effort to control the court-ordered release of offenders in the overflowing California prison system, Gov. Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced his support today for legislation that would specify which prisoners could go free. “Law enforcement and faith leaders” joined Brown in his endorsement of the amended Public Safety Rehabilitation Act of 2016, according to a statement.
