Construction and routine maintenance work will take place on several parking lots at Cal State Long Beach in the weeks approaching fall semester, resulting in closures of some parking lots during construction. All construction has been scheduled for anticipated start and finish dates, but those dates are subject to change. For the latest information on construction schedules, visit www.csulb.edu/maps/.
Lot 17, July 24 – Aug. 23
Alternate parking is available in Lots 14, 18 and Parking Structure 1.
Lots 14A, 14B, 14C; July 29 – Aug. 14
A majority of the lots may remain open during construction.
Lot 15, Aug. 2 – 9
Alternate parking will be available in Lot 14 and Parking Structure 1.
Lot 6, Aug. 6 – 9
Alternate parking will be available in Lots 4, 5 and 7.
Closures on Beach Drive and West Campus Drive, Aug. 10
Beach Drive and West Campus Drive will be closed for bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements. Because of the closures, Lots 1, 4, 5 and 6 will be inaccessible that day.
- Renovations of Beach Drive and West Campus Drive will also continue through Aug. 23, and traffic lanes will be reduced to one lane at times. During this period, it is advised to use Atherton Street, Palo Verde Avenue or East Campus Drive for smoother access to campus.
Facilities Management Visitor Lots, Aug. 12-14
Lots will be closed for the duration of the repairs.
Lot 9, Aug. 12 – 14
Only the parking area between the Design building and the Human Services and Design building will be closed.
Lot 12, Aug. 12 – 16
Alternate parking will be available in Parking Structures 2 and 3.
