Long Beach State’s dual-season opener will have to wait, as the 49ers’ match with Southern California was postponed due to rain Friday.
The Beach will head back to USC campus on Wednesday, Jan. 28, with the match starting at 3 p.m.
Due to rains in the Southern California area, it was determined that the courts at USC would be unable to dry to get the match between the No. 10 Trojans and No. 48 ‘Niners underway.
After the Wednesday match, the team will then make their first road trip, playing two matches in Berkeley starting with the California Golden Bears on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m.
