The No. 10-ranked Long Beach State women's water polo team wrapped up the Loyola Marymount Invitational in Los Angeles with a 12-6 victory over Cal State San Bernardino.
The 49ers finished 3-1 at the LMU Invitational.
Krizia Cerda, Lauren Sieprath, and Julia Garyfallou all scored a pair of goals to lead the ‘Niners.
LBSU got off to a quick start against CSSB and never looked back. The Beach scored three goals in the first period while holding CSSB to one.
The ‘Niners then took a 7-4 lead heading into the second half.
The 49ers extended their cushion with three unanswered goals in the third period and added two more goals in the fourth.
LBSU goalkeeper Kelly Ringel finished with three saves, subbing in for Kristen Stragier who also finished with three.
The Beach will conclude nonconference play against Hartwick at the Campus Pool on April 2 before heading into Big West Conference action on April 9.
