LBSU's top finisher, freshman Kevin Roy, ended the tournament in a four-way tie for 27th. Roy, East Tennessee State's Rhys Enoch and Michael Stewart, along with Nick Killpack of Brigham Young, fired an 8-over 221 score.

Tennessee's Chris Paisley won the event at 12-over 201, which was three shots ahead of the Aztecs' Matt Hoffenberg.

Roy finished the final round with just one birdie, on the 18th hole, to go with a bogey and two double bogeys.

Junior Michael Drake finished a shot behind Roy at 9-over 222. Austin Love and Steve Gibson both logged a 21-over 234 score, while Ricky Montanez rounded out the scoring at 23-over 236.

The ‘Niners won't compete again until a month later at the Braveheart Classic on March 2 and 3 in Beaumont.
