Daily 49er

Miranda Andrade-Ceja, Editor in Chief
Miranda Andrade-Ceja serves as the Daily 49er's Editor in Chief for the 2017-2018 school year. Prior to her induction as Editor in Chief, she held the position of Managing Editor for the Daily 49er for the 2016-2017 year and spent an additional semester as Arts & Life Editor. Andrade-Ceja is originally from North County San Diego, though she lives in Long Beach now with her girlfriend, two cats and two dogs. Before writing for the newspaper, Andrade-Ceja served on the executive board of La Raza Student Association and interned with California Faculty Association. She is extremely proud of her role in the Daily 49er's "knife incident" coverage as well as the illustrations she's drawn for the publication in the past. She likes news, forward thinking and cheese plates.
